West Midland Police Benevolent Fund was set up in 1974 following the
amalgamation of local forces to form
the West Midlands Police The aims of the fund are to
provide welfare
benefits and financial help to
members in times of need. |
Today
the main benefits include:
• Long
term financial help for the widows
and orphans of police officers, pensioner's and civilian
employees.
• Death
grants to cover the immediate
needs of the dependents of police officers and
civilian employees.
• Cash grants
and interest free loans to
relieve the hardship and distress of members.
• Gift
tokens for sick members.
• Cash
payments towards convalescent
expenses, if you contribute to the Flint House Police
Convalescent Home.
• Optional membership of the Private Medical
Scheme.
All benefits are at the absolute discretion of the management committee.

The Benevolent Fund
together with FCL Debt Solutions Company, offer it's
members a comprehensive debt counselling service. FCL
are one of the largest insolvency practitioners in the
country and are non fee charging. Simply contact the
